Born in Korea, Dr. Don began learning the philosophy of Asian healing arts from his mother. Healthy living was a way of life in his upbringing, consisting of traditional Asian cuisine from home gardening along with herbal remedies. Practicing Eastern medicine is a way to honor his heritage while fulfilling his calling. 

Don has been a practitioner of traditional Chinese martial arts / qi gong over 25 years where he furthered his learning of healing having used herbal liniments for trauma, pain, sports related injuries as well as other traditional Chinese healing modalities such as tui na and acupressure. He is a 5th generation direct student of the late Grandmaster Henry Poo Yee within the Chinese Kung Fu Academy of Southern Praying Mantis Federation, U.S.A. 

Dr. Don Walker is a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine from the National Certification Commission of Oriental Medicine and is nationally licensed to practice acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. Having completed over 4,000 hours of intensive academic and clinical training, Don persisted at the top of his class. 

He studied traditional Chinese and Korean medicine at Wongu University of Oriental Medicine and was awarded a Master of Science degree in Oriental Medicine.  He also completed a clinical/professional doctorate at Pacific College of Health and Science and was awarded a Doctor of Acupuncture with a Chinese Herbal Medicine Specialization degree. 

When he isn’t practicing and studying, he enjoys teaching, hiking, cooking, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
