Meet Dr. Xiaorong Ding, Ph.D.
Dr. Xiaorong Ding is a master practitioner, researcher, and teacher of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She has over 25 years of clinical acupuncture experience, as well as both Ph.D. and Master’s degrees in acupuncture from renowned universities in China. Her total 11 years of in-depth acupuncture education in China tremendously focused on integrating Chinese and Western medicines, and bringing out the best of both disciplines.
After obtaining her doctorate in 2003 from the Tianjin Traditional Chinese Medicine University, one of the most highly regarded Traditional Chinese Medicine universities in China, Dr. Ding practiced acupuncture at her alma mater’s University Hospital for another four years, eventually rising to Associate Chief Physician. Soon after, Dr. Ding joined the China Academy of Chinese Medicine — the NIH of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China — as an associate professor. Dr. Ding has authored and co-authored over 40 research papers on Chinese medicine.
Since coming to the U.S in 2011, Dr. Ding has combined her profound knowledge and clinical experience to help her patients heal naturally and efficiently. She is one of the most sought-after acupuncturists in the Denver area.
Dr. Ding is a master of using pulse diagnosis to identify ailments. Her needling style, honed over many decades, is gentle and pain-free, and her training has enabled her to precisely choose acupoints so that she applies only a few needles (typically 5 to 12). To her, less is more. Patients comment that they feel at peace during the treatment.
Quick-thinking, highly skilled, and efficient yet gracious, Dr. Ding has successfully helped thousands of patients achieve their health goals at TrueMind Center since 2013. She receives numerous referrals because of her track record of results.
