Meet Dr. Hongfei Lin, M.D.

Dr. Lin has distinguished her practice with her unusual combination of education in Western and Chinese medicine. Dr. Lin obtained her M.D.* in 1984 from Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences, one of the three foremost medical schools in China, and her Master’s degree in Biomedicine with a concentration in Acupuncture in 1987 from the same university.

Dr. Lin credits her 30 years of success, however, to softer skills: a keen observation of the many layers of forces that shape a body, an uncanny intuition, a remarkable focus, and an ability to envision and quickly strategize plans to achieve the health potential of each of her patients.

Dr. Lin believes that how you live your life affects your health. She is deeply compassionate about her patients’ life stories, struggles, and moments of stagnation, and has found that physical recovery is often intertwined with emotional recovery. She is dedicated to coaching her patients to achieve goals in life while still preserving their health and preventing future illnesses.

Dr. Lin wants her patients to know that Traditional Chinese Medicine is a team effort treating your holistic person, not simply your diseases. If you are ready and committed to your health, and want to take advantage of Dr. Lin’s experience, Dr. Lin is excited to help bring out your full healing potential.

Dr. Lin has practiced TCM exclusively in the United States since 1988, and founded the TrueMind® Center with her husband, John Law, Ph.D., in 2004. Dr. Lin has passed the U.S. Medical Licensing Examination (USMLE), but has chosen not to practice Western Medicine and does not hold a Colorado physician’s license.

Dr. Lin is a proud mother of two grown children.

*Dr. Lin is not a licensed physician in Colorado. Dr. Lin limits her practice exclusively to traditional Chinese medicine.
